Cheese pizza

Four cheese pizza with honey
Ingredients:

1 recipe traditional pizza dough
Flour or corn meal for dusting
1/2 cup pizza sauce

1/2 cup freshly grated Mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup freshly grated Asiago cheese
1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzolla cheese

Method:
Four cheese pizza with honey
1) Combine the four cheeses in a bowl.
2) Preheat the oven to 500°F (260℃). If you are using a pizza stone, place it on a middle rack and preheat it with the oven. If you are using a pizza pan, arrange the rack near the center of the oven.
3) Divide the dough in half. Pat or roll one each half into a 14-inch round. Place on a wooden pizza peel or a pizza pan generously dusted with flour or cornmeal.
You can roll it larger, depends on how thin you want it to be. (*) The thinner the shell is, the larger it is and you might need more ingredients for topping.
4) Spread half of pizza sauce evenly over each round and distribute half the mixed cheeses over the sauce on each. Cover the pizza you will not be baking immediately with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
5) If you are using a pizza stone, slide the pizza directly onto the preheated stone. Otherwise, place the prepared pizza on its pan on the rack.
Bake for 8~10 minutes until brown, crisp and bubbling. Remove from the oven, slice into wedges and serve.
Bake the second pizza similarly.

  • I really recommend eating with honey. The salty Gorgonzola goes perfectly with it. I am addicted to this combination. Why don't you try? :)
